Welcome to Buckingham Primary School, a Community School of Buckinghamshire County Council, serving families in the town of Buckingham and surrounding country areas. The school is in modern buildings set on an attractively wooded hilltop site. Our smart, spacious classrooms are complemented by first-class facilities that promote an excellent working atmosphere. Our school is led by a committed Governing body and supported by an active PTA, The Friends of Buckingham Primary School.

The NACE Challenge Award

The NACE Challenge Award Framework is a whole-school self-evaluation tool and process which allows an in depth analysis of provision with exemplification of evidence and action planning to improve.

ICT Mark

The ICT Mark

The ICT Mark is a nationally recognised accreditation scheme which gives schools recognition for their achievements in reaching a standard of maturity in their use of technology.

Artsmark Gold

Arts Council - Artsmark Gold

Artsmark is a national award scheme managed by Arts Council England that recognises schools with a high level of provision in the arts. By gaining an Artsmark, a school shows its commitment to the wider development of young people and teachers and to raising the profile of the arts in the school and local community.

Healthy Schools

Healthy Schools

On 10th July 2008 BPS were fully accredited for Healthy Schools. The National Healthy Schools programme is an exciting long-term initiative which is making a significant difference to the health and achievement of children and young people. The National Healthy Schools Programme supports the links between health, behaviour and achievement; it is about creating healthy and happy children and young people, who do better in learning and in life.

National College Logo

The National College works in partnership with a variety of organisations and agencies towards its goal of supporting and developing current and future leaders in schools, early years settings and children’s services. We are delighted to be working with the National College as a designated NPQH Leadership Development School.
