Information for parents

Thank you for helping to support your child with his or her homework.

We set homework each week

Literacy, numeracy or a task related to one of are other areas of study

Homework is handed out on a Thursday and is due in the following Tuesday

Home reading

We would like the children to read at home as often as possible but at least four times each week. Reading records need to be in school every day for recording school reading; teachers collect them in and add comments each week.

Spellings

Spellings are sent home for the children to learn using ‘look, say, cover, write and check’  A spelling quiz is given every Friday
